FAQs

  • If you're unsure about selecting the right therapist for your needs, please contact us. We offer guidance and can direct you towards therapists who best match your specific requirements. We also recommend booking a consultation to ensure the therapist you choose is the perfect fit for you.

  • The initial consultation serves as an opportunity for us to gauge if we're a compatible match. During this session, we may inquire about the issues you'd like to address and any past therapy experiences you've had. This is also your chance to ask about my qualifications, areas of expertise, and the therapeutic process.

  • The fee for a 50-minute session is $185.

  • Yes, we have a limited number of sliding scale spots available to those who need it.

  • We do not meet for in-person therapy. Sessions are held via video conferencing.

  • The initial session focuses on establishing a foundation of trust and safety between you and your therapist. During this meeting, we'll delve into your life experiences and discuss both your goals and possible treatment approaches. Together, we'll tailor a plan to meet your unique needs. Feel free to ask as many questions as you'd like—your informed consent and understanding of the process are paramount.

  • If you have benefits or insurance coverage, Registered Psychotherapists are frequently covered. Check with your insurance provider to find out the details of your coverage. After our appointment, we will provide you with a receipt that can be submitted to your insurance provider for reimbursement.

  • All aspects of client involvement will be held in utmost confidence in accordance with the ethical guidelines and standards of practice set out by the Ontario College of Registered Psychotherapists. Personally identifiable information regarding clients is not discussed or disclosed, directly or indirectly, without the prior consent of the client.
